Arxior was born from the vision of four leaders: Hein, Marc, Benoît and Philippe. As the former management team of Amadys, we have transformed startups into thriving multinationals through a strategic buy-and-build approach.

The sale of Amadys - a pioneer in passive equipment for the utilities sector - in 2023 confirmed our track record. What truly sets us apart is our complementary skill set and the synergy we share.

Hein Wilderjans

Former CEO, Entrepreneur

Hein holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Leuven (KUL, Belgium) and has more than 30 years of experience in the network equipment industry. In 2000 he founded Crosswise, which after a strategic partnership in 2017 became Amadys. As CEO and Member of the Board, he led the company to become a leading provider of network equipment solutions for utility and telecom operators in Europe, achieving more than €500 million in annual revenue, and oversaw its growth through strategic acquisitions and partnerships.

Marc Van Opstal

CFO, specialized in M&A

An accomplished CFO with a master's degree in Applied Economics from the University of Ghent, Marc combines analytical thinking with hands-on execution. As CFO of Amadys he played a pivotal role in executing the group's buy-and-build strategy, resulting in profitable exits for two Private Equity funds. As Managing Director of a global metal-forming machinery manufacturer, he optimised operations across Belgium, the Netherlands, the USA, Indonesia and China.

Benoît Willems

CEO, Business leader specialized in transformation & integration

Benoît holds a Master's in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications) and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Leuven (KUL). He founded a cloud communications company and held roles in a multinational across sales, engineering, lean six sigma and general management. Joining Amadys in 2018, he helped transform it from a financial holding into an integrated multinational, leading business transformation, post-merger integration, continuous improvement, marketing, e-commerce, communications, IT and ERP.

Philippe Wilderjans

Experienced Business Leader

With a degree in International Business Management, Philippe joined Crosswise in 2013 in business development, sales and marketing. He later converged the Belgian telecom entities into a single business unit under the Amadys brand, delivering world-class customer service as one organisation. From 2021 he led Amadys through the Belgian telecom landscape, and after its acquisition by Netceed in 2023 he was named Head of Belgium, leading the business and its growth.
